Salverda, Carlson, Hammersten 2nd McGee. Mayor Kitts was absent. Attorney Robert Gearin and Engineers Bather and Soutter were also present. Count¿T Road C. It was Dra.inage Prob. stated that Avon Street, put through by a developer last fall has interrupted the natural drainage flow in the area which has resulted in a 12xge water hole on the Peterson Land. Engineers Bather and Sautter reported that they have checked into the situation and it can be remedied at the final con- struction of the street. Carlson Moved, Salverda Seconded that the Clerk be instructed to inform Mr. Peterson by letter of the Engineer's report. Roll Call Ayes (4)-Nayes(C). Rober~ Gearin reported that he has checked into the possibility of purch- asing a lot described as lot (1), block (1), Todd's Outlots for the purp- ose of water storage. Hammersten Moved, Carlson Seconded the matter be referred to Joseph Bettendorf for an appraisal and a report at the next regular council meeting. Roll Call Ayes (4)-Nayes(0). Shell O:i.l Company requested a permit to erect a service station at Rice Street and Count,y Road A-2. The Building Inspector has approved the plœas. Carlson Moved, Salverda Seconded that Shell Oil Company be given permis:=d..on to erect the st<::.tion at Rice Street and County Road A-2. Roll Call Ailes (4)- Nayes (0). A letter was read from the Roseville Volunteer Fire Department commending police officer Herbert Bohlman for his help in tracing the source of the Fred Kaufhold fire on July 10, 1956. Peter Pothen~ residing at H21Illine and Roselawn asked if it wOlùd be permissable va build on a 40 foot lot. Carlson Moved, Hammersten Seoonded the matter be referred to the Build- ing Inspector and Engineer for their study and report at the next council meeting. Roll Call Avves (4)-Nayes (0). M. F.
