<br />... 4 .. <br /> <br />A letter was read from Jerry Baumann requesting a waiver from the Council to <br />put in a cesspool, if they have to, five feet from the front property line. <br />This will enable them to keep the well approximately 10 feet out from the <br />rear of the house and 75 feet from the cesspool. The sewer is expected to <br />be usable in that area soon and the home is now under construction. <br />McGee Moved, Carlson Seconded special permission to place the system as <br />shown on Mr. Baumann's sketch b~ granted, but must otherwise meet with the <br />!building code. Roll Call J\yes ~5J-Nayes (0). <br /> <br />Peter Patrick of 12~2 Oakcrest reported on a drainage condition which exists <br />immediately adjacenÌi to his home and his neighbors. The Council could offer <br />no solution to the problem as a municipality cannot spend funds for 118 better- <br />ment of private property. <br /> <br />Roy Meyer of 2718 Huron asked that the Council reconsider their action taken <br />at the last meeting in relation to the proposed garage site to be constructed <br />by Western Construction Company. The slab has already been put in closer to <br />~e property line that the required 15 feet. The matter was not considered. <br /> <br />The drainage problem on St. Stephens was brought up by Mr. George Seaberg. <br />The Clerk reported tha. t the Sta'te Highway Department will offer no assist- <br />ance in the matter.
