Roll va.l A.yes \~J-Nayes 0). <br /> <br />Comprehensive <br />PJæh <br /> <br />Mr. Glen Johnson of 1535 County Road B-2 commended the planning group for <br />an excellent job done and pointed out that no time should be lost in carry- <br />ing out the plans. <br />lIames Kerwin who has de-æloped some property near McCarrons Lake reported that <br />the owner of a property near there has already made plans contra.by' to the comp- <br />i'ehensi:re plan.. Mr.. Kerwin asked if the Village could legally stop the owner <br />from gOlng on w~th his plans. It was thought that the Village ,,¡QuId either <br />have to condemn or purchase the property. <br /> <br />The buil~ ins~ector reported that upon investigating the premises on Rambler Dirt Pit <br />Road and Pascal J.n relation to the conaition of a dirt pit at that location, <br />he has found the usual conditions prevailing when dirt is being removed; and <br />not particularly dangereus as the diggers are ]a aving sloping banks and there <br />is no loose sand. The Ins~ector recommended that the Council write a letter to <br />the land owner notifying h:un to be particularly careful when leavinglithe premises <br />to knout down all protuDerances which could possibly fall down. <br /> <br />Kitts Hoved, Carlson Seconded the Council concur with the recommendatiøns of the <br />building inspector and that the Clerk be instructed to x:i:iõk write the letter to <br />the owner. <br /> <br />A petition was submitted ~ George Reiling requesting a rezoning from Farm <br />residential to Commercial on the following described property. <br />The N 823 ft. of the W 90 ft. of the E 490 ft. of that <br />part of the SE i of Section 3, Township 29, Range 23, <br />lying N of County Road C. <br />Kitts Moved, McGee Seconded the matter be referred to the planning Commission <br />for their consideration and re:m.ommendation. Roll Call Ayes (5)-Nayes (0). <br /> <br />A letter was read from C. L. Messerli informing the Council that as of this date <br />he i~ herØwith submit.ting his resignatiQn. as chairman ~Qf theli~~seville Planning <br />Co~ssìon,. The dec~sJ.on was made on advJ.ce rr9m Mr. Messer s doctor Who <br />suggested ~at he relinquish some of his actiVJ.ties. <br />Kitts Moved, Hammersten Seconded the le tter of resignation be accepted and <br />the matter of obtaining another person to fulfill the position be babled for <br />one week.
