Attachment 1 <br />lei <br />Public Works Department <br />Memo <br />To: Public Works Environmental and Transportation Commission Members <br />From: Jennifer Lowry, City Engineer <br />Date: May 24, 2024 <br />Re: Communications Items <br />The following are updates to projects and other activities happening in Roseville since the last <br />commission meeting: <br />Roseville Public Works project updates: <br />o Bike Plan <br />• The online survey and map to compile comments are live, please share the link below <br />with your networks and encourage others to participate and subscribe. Listening <br />sessions with key groups are being scheduled, bike audits are occurring June 10, and a <br />network workshop is scheduled for June 11. Bike Plan efforts were featured in a Star <br />Tribune article May 12 and a KSTP story on May 14. <br />• httns://talk.dot.state.mn.us/roseville-bike-Plan <br />o McCarron Retaining Wall Replacement <br />• Construction is anticipated to begin in the next few weeks. <br />o County Road B Reconstruction, west of Cleveland Avenue <br />• Construction is anticipated to begin in June. Residents are encouraged to subscribe to <br />the website for ongoing updates. <br />0 2024 PMP <br />Portions of the PMP in the Midland Hills neighborhood adjacent to the reconstruction <br />project will be done in coordination with the reconstruction. Other streets that are a <br />part of the PMP should have concrete work completed in May and paving completed <br />in June. <br />o County Road B Reconstruction from Snelling Avenue to Lexington Avenue (Ramsey County) <br />• Road construction and city watermain replacement has begun. Currently, westbound <br />traffic is closed from Snelling to Pascal. <br />0 2024 Sewer Lining Project <br />• Letters are being sent to residents and work is anticipated to begin in June. <br />0 2024 Pathways Project <br />Project is currently in design and includes Lexington Avenue, between County <br />Road B and TH 36, the Wagner Street to Western Avenue cul-de-sac connection, and <br />Tamarack Park pathways shown in Attachment 2. The project will be bid later this <br />year and construction may expand into 2025. <br />Page 10 of 115 <br />
