<br />REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION <br />Date: 6/3/2024 <br />Item No.: 7.c. <br />Department Approval City Manager Approval <br /> <br /> <br />Item Description: Receive the 2024 Community Survey and Analysis Presentation by <br />the Morris Leatherman Company <br />1 <br />2 Background <br />3 Earlier this year, the City Council authorized staff to retain the Morris Leatherman Company <br />4 to conduct a survey of Roseville residents. The 400-person random sample phone survey <br />5 of 130 questions was conducted between April 18, 2024 and May 7, 2024. Morris <br />6 Leatherman Company will present the survey results, including an in-depth analysis of the <br />7 data. <br />8 <br />9 Policy Objectives <br />10 The Community Survey, typically conducted every 2-3 years, provides useful information <br />11 about City programs and services, and helps to rate the quality of life in the Roseville <br />12 community. The survey data allows longitudinal analysis and provides useful information to <br />13 support decision-making with existing and future programs and services. <br />14 <br />15 Racial Equity Impact Summary <br />16 Demographic data was collected from the respondents with the purpose of identifying any <br />17 specific or relevant trends and to ensure the sample is representative of the Roseville <br />18 community. <br />19 <br />20 Budget Implications <br />21 None <br />22 <br />23 Staff Recommendations <br />24 Receive presentation of survey findings by the Morris Leatherman Company <br />25 <br />26 Requested Council Action <br />27 Receive the report.
