EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 8th day of July, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. The following members were present: Strahan, Etten, Schroeder, Groff, and Roe and the following were absent: None Member Strahan introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION No. 12077 RESOLUTION APPROVING PUBLICATION OF AN ORDINANCE SUMMARY OF INTERIM ORD.NO. 1677 AUTHORIZING A STUDY AND IMPOSING A MORATORIUM ON THE OPERATION OF CANNABIS BUSINESSES WITHIN THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE WHEREAS,The City Council of the City of Roseville,on July 8,2024,adopted Interim Ordinance No. 1677; entitled "An interim ordinance authorizing a study and imposing a moratorium on the operation of cannabis businesses within the city of Roseville;" and WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes, section 412.191, subd. 4, allows publication by title and summary in the case of lengthy ordinances or those containing charts or maps; and WHEREAS, The City Council has determined that the following summary would clearly inform the public of the intent and effect of the ordinance and where to obtain a copy of the full text.
