The ordinance includes citations to authority <br /> and legislative findings, definitions of terms used, and provides for a study <br /> regarding the adoption or amendment of reasonable restrictions on the time, place, <br /> and manner of the operation of cannabis businesses, as well as the other potential <br /> local regulations allowed under Minnesota Statutes, and including any business the <br /> applies for or had received a license preapproval and any business authorized for <br /> early cultivation. The ordinance provides that the moratorium is in effect upon <br /> publication and will be in place until January 1, 2025, unless repealed earlier. <br /> Exceptions from the moratorium include the continued operation of a business as <br /> part of the Medical Cannabis Program administered by the Minnesota Department <br /> of Health that was lawfully operating within the City prior to the adoption of the <br /> interim ordinance. <br /> BE IT FURTHER'RESOLVED by the Roseville City Council that the City Clerk keep a copy of <br /> the ordinance at City Hall, 2660 Civic Center Drive, Roseville, MN for public inspection during <br /> regular office hours. A copy of the ordinance and summary shall also be posted on the City's <br /> website.
