I'm 76yo and have been 7/16/2024 4:03 PM recycling since the late 70'sM we would haul our recycling to a drop off about every two weeks!! 2 I'm waiting for the food scrap pick up (in our weekly trash) to come about. We avoid plastic bags at the grocery store, but our takeout is often bundled in plastic shopping bags. It would be great if this was also subject to the ordinance. Cant wait for Ramsey County to include us in the compost pickup project! 10 1 support the ordinance. 6/27/2024 10:24 PM 11 1 wish stores that sold things packaged with Styrofoam and other nonrecyclables would take 6/9/2024 9:43 AM them back, but I guess they would just throw them in the trash, too. Or use those corn products that are used like Styrofoam. I wish there were more food scrap recycling sites or maybe near grocery stores. In the summer, a watermelon or a couple of cantaloupes fill up a food scrap pail pretty quickly, and I need to make almost daily trips to the food scrap recycling site. I don't use a large pail because they propagate some nasty worms/bugs pretty quickly. One last thing: an alternative to plastic utensils. So many all over around Rosedale and the fast food places. Thanks for having this survey! 12 It would be great to have compostable or turn -in -for reuse options for dining out in Roseville. 1 5/23/2024 10:38 AM am willing to pay a bit more for the greener options! 13 Mostly, people don't know what their food is coming in until they pick it up. I occasionally order 5/23/2024 10:36 AM to go, but only a fewtimes or less per month since I have a cafeteria where I work. 14 The ordinance should be a state-wide requirement but at this point, I would be proud of 5/9/2024 3:43 PM Roseville if it imposed this requirement. Vde should not be throwing away containers to just transport food to our homes. It is anti -environment, wasteful and damages our planet. 15 1 love that this ordinance is being proposed!
