Green To Go Ordinance - Resident Survey
natural environment. Thank you for taking the initiative and asking for public feedback. It is a
great ordinance that can be done in a cost effective and low -burden way on consumers and
businesses.
17
So excited Roseville is finally considering this ordinance. Way past due.
4/25/2024 1:12 PM
18
Our community should be moving away from single -use plastics and Styrofoam as quickly as
4/25/2024 9:41 AM
possible. My family and other families I know avoid restaurants who regularly use these
products.
19
Terrible idea to allow single -use plastic. We have limited amount of trash and a lot of recycle
4/13/2024 12: 11 PM
material. I'm concerned not all recycling material is handled properly.
20
It's about time! Fully in favor of this ordinance eliminating single -use plastic and foam. Educate
4/6/2024 9:04 AM
our community about plastic pollution and it's effects on the environment.
21
Very excited for this. I realize it could be a hardship on businesses but we have to move
4/2/2024 7:14 PM
towards this for a more sustainable future.
22
Please don't.
3/29/2024 5:35 PM
23
Taking part in No Plastics month (Ramsey and Washington counties) made me much more
3/29/2024 12:50 PM
aware. Good program which needs more publicity and encouragement.
24
This is yet another stupid city government solution for a problem that doesn't exist. Does the
3/29/2024 1:17 AM
city even have any data on any of this? Doubtful. Tired of government wasting our tax dollars
to solve 0. 0000001% problems.
25
Everything depends on what people do With the recyclable / compostable containers after
3/28/2024 8:39 AM
using them. This ambitious effort is useless if the containers are just thrown into the trash.
26
1 support banning foam containers
3/28/2024 8:08 AM
27
If a restaurant uses Styrofoam, we Will avoid going there for take out. If a restaurant uses
3/22/2024 7:48 AM
recyclable or compostable containers, we are more likely to return there for take out.
28
I'm very excited about this ordinance. There are a couple of restaurants in Roseville and
3/21/2024 10:19 PM
several around the Twin Cities that we avoid only because of the plastic and styrofoam waste.
We would love to see that change.
29
The proposed ordinance is already in place elsewhere. The residents of and restaurants in
3/19/2024 10:28 AM
Roseville can do better to reduce trash and reuse and recycle more.
30
To go plastic containers leak plastics. I would never use them beyond a single use.
3/16/2024 12:36 PM
Compostable is always preferable.
31
1 support this ordinance and also want Roseville to begin a food scraps composting program
3/16/2024 10:46 AM
32
Please ban Styrofoam -- it lasts just about forever and cannot be recycled!
3/16/2024 8:29 AM
14 / 14 Page 83 of 97
