<br /> <br /> <br />The City will form a proposal review committee to review and analyze the details of the <br />qualified submitted proposals. Finalists will be invited to interview with the review committee to <br />be held September 2 - 13 (under the current schedule). The City may request tours of the <br />Respondents designated MRFs during this interview period. Following the interviews and any <br />tour(s) of the designated MRF(s), the committee will recommend proposal rankings to the City <br />Council. <br /> <br />Upon direction from the City Council, City staff will negotiate terms of the final contract with <br />the top-ranked Respondent. If negotiations with the top-ranked Respondent are not successful, <br />the City will negotiate with the second-ranked Respondent, and so on. <br /> <br />After a final draft Contract has been negotiated, City staff will present a recommended Contract <br />to the City Council. The City Council may then award the Contract and authorize staff to execute <br />it. <br /> <br />It is anticipated the new Recycling contract will be executed by approximately October 7, 2024, <br />and collection operations under the new Contract will commence on July 1, 2025. Transition <br />operations under the new Contract, such as cart switches and related public education, may occur <br />prior to collection operations. <br /> <br />4.2!Assumptions to be used for Proposals <br />The City shall use following assumptions for purposes of evaluating all proposals on the same <br />basis: <br /> <br />!Annual recyclable tonnage collected curbside under the City contract = 3,300 tons per <br />year. <br />!Annual recyclable tonnage collected at Multi-Dwelling Units under the City contract = <br />600 tons per year. <br />!Single-Dwellings Units and other units that receive curbside service using curbside bins <br />= 9,487 units. <br />!Multi-Dwelling Units that will receive respective collection service = 7,486 housing units <br />at 97 locations. <br />!Annual recyclable tonnage collected at City Parks = 3.5 tons per year <br />4.3!Proposal Contents <br />Qualified proposals must include the Proposal Content Checklist (Attachment B) and all items <br />listed on the checklist. <br /> <br /> <br /> RFP for City of Roseville Recycling Services 8 <br />Qbhf!231!pg!557 <br /> <br />
