First summer concert for Live at the ROG will be on June 9 at the Central Park Frank Rog <br />Amphitheater <br />th <br /> Roseville’s 6Annual Juneteenth Celebration will be on Saturday June 15 (11 AM – 3 PM) <br />at the Central Park Frank Rog Amphitheater <br />Rosefest 2024 will be held on June 24-June 30 <br />The Commission forAccreditation ofParks and Recreation Agencies(CAPRA) site visit was <br />completed with staff in May <br />The Lexington Park playgroundreplacement request for proposalwasreleasedand vendor <br />surveys completed. A vendor recommendation will be brought to the City Council. <br /> Data continues to be collected on the conversion of amenities (pool, splash pad, parking, etc.) <br />at Rosebrook Park <br />An e-mail has been sent out for engagement events for the bike planning committee <br />Natural Resource Technical Advisory Commission is currently in the process of collecting <br />information in the parks in order to update the Natural Resources Plan <br /> July is Parks and Recreation month <br />b) OTHER NEW OR RELEVANT COMMUNICATION ITEMS <br />Commissioner J. Arneson asked if advertising is located on-site for the Rosefest Pickleball and <br />Disc Golf Tournaments. Staff responded that there is advertising at both the disc golf course and <br />the pickleball courts. <br />Commissioner Kooistra noted that the newsletter foldout of summer Parks and Recreation events <br />is very helpful. <br />Vice Chair Beckmann reminded the Commission that they can still sign up to represent the Parks <br />and Recreation Commission at the Discover Your Parks events. She also mentioned that there <br />will be no Parks and Recreation Commission meeting in July. <br />6.
