APPROVAL OF MINUTES – JUNE 4, 2024 MEETING <br /> <br />Commissioner Kooistra moved to approve the minutes. Commissioner Penny seconded. <br /> <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: A. Arneson, Brown, Kooistra, Matts-Benson, Penny. <br />Nays: None. <br />Abstain: Raygor. <br /> <br />4. BUSINESS ITEMS <br />a) PROVIDE PARK DEDICATION RECOMMENDATION FOR 2865 N. HAMLINE AVE. <br />Staff reviewed the purpose, process, and options to satisfy Park Dedication with the <br />Commission. <br /> <br />Staff provided the Commission background on a proposed subdivision that is planned for 2865 <br />N. Hamline Ave. The proposal is to subdivide the parcel that currently contains Roseville <br />Covenant Church to allow for the possible development of a residential lot in the future. The <br />project qualifies for Park Dedication. The cash amount for the one additional unit would be <br />$4,250. The required land amount would be 10% of .456 acres or 0.045 acres. The proposed <br />development is located in Constellation C of the Parks and Recreation system. There are no <br />specific plans identified for parkland in this area. <br /> <br />Staff reminded the Commission of their role for Park Dedication, which is to review the <br />proposed development in relation to the parks and recreation system plans and goals, and to <br />1 <br /> <br /> <br />
