Attachment 1 <br />leNZ-AR <br />Public Works Department <br />Memo <br />To: Public Works Environmental and Transportation Commission Members <br />From: Jennifer Lowry, City Engineer <br />Date: September 24, 2024 <br />Re: Communications Items <br />The following are updates to projects and other activities happening in Roseville since the last <br />commission meeting: <br />Roseville Public Works project updates: <br />• McCarron Retaining Wall Replacement <br />o Construction of the wall is progressing and is expected to be completed in late <br />September. <br />o South McCarron Blvd is closed from Glenwood Avenue to Woodruff Avenue, but <br />the trail remains open. <br />• County Road B Reconstruction, west of Cleveland Avenue <br />o New curbs and driveways have been installed. The first layer of pavement is <br />scheduled for September 23. Grading for the trail and behind the curb will begin <br />shortly thereafter. Work should be done by late October. <br />• 2024 PMP <br />o Portions of the PMP in the Midland Hills neighborhood adjacent to the reconstruction <br />project and Midland Grove Road will be done in coordination with the reconstruction. <br />Other streets that are a part of the PMP are complete. <br />County Road B Reconstruction from Snelling Avenue to Lexington Avenue (Ramsey County) <br />o Work on the final phase of construction has begun. All work west of Pascal Street is <br />completed and the road is fully open. <br />o Work is ongoing east of Pascal Street. Traffic is only open to eastbound traffic. <br />o Removals are ongoing. Watermain is being replaced between Dellwood Avenue and <br />Merrill Street. <br />o The overall project is still scheduled for completion by the end of November. <br />2024 Sewer Lining Project <br />o Lining of sewer continues in various locations throughout the city. Properties <br />impacted by the lining will be contacted in advance. The project should be completed <br />next week. <br />2024 Pathways Project <br />o The project is currently in design and includes Lexington Avenue, between County <br />Road B and TH 36, the Wagner Street to Western Avenue cul-de-sac connection, and <br />Page 7 of 185 <br />
