Contractor <br />[INSERT NAME OF CONTRACTOR] <br />Corrugated Cardboard (Old Corrugated Cardboard) <br />Cardboard material with double wall construction and corrugated separation between walls <br />including boxes for delivery and take out pizzas. Does not include cardboard heavily coated in <br />plastic or wax. <br />Curbside <br />The area of public right-of-way between the property line and the curb or edge of the street but <br />not on the street. The term "curbside" may also include alley collection. <br />Curbside Recycling Carts <br />Wheeled carts used as part of a single -stream collection system. If the Contractor owns the carts, <br />carts shall be consistent in colors and design with a recycling symbol that is at least 4 inches tall <br />on two sides and approved instruction label on each lid, so as to be easily identified by the <br />resident/customer and the Contractor driver as the container for recyclable materials collection. <br />[OR CITY OWNS CARTS] <br />Curbside Recycling Service <br />The recycling collection services, specified in the RFP and this Contract, serving customers with <br />recycling pickup at the curb or alley at their residence. <br />Food Scraps <br />Residential organic materials derived from plant and animal matter including food waste that is <br />collected for composting. <br />Glass Jars and Bottles <br />Glass jars, bottles, and containers (lids/caps and pumps removed) that are used for packing and <br />bottling of food and beverages. <br />High -Density Polyethylene (HDPE) — Colored <br />Plastic bottles and thermoforms made from HDPE resin with pigment or coloring (e.g., laundry <br />detergent and automatic dishwasher soap bottles). <br />HDPE — Natural <br />Plastic bottles and thermoforms made from HDPE without pigment or coloring (e.g., milk jugs, <br />gallon water jugs, and ice cream pails). <br />Holidays <br />Days on which recycling service is deferred one calendar day, including January 1, Memorial <br />Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. <br />Market Indicator <br />Commodity price indices as per the recycling industry publication specified in the Contract <br />RFP for City of Roseville Recycling Services • A-2 <br />RS160\1\934842.vl <br />Page 71 of 185 <br />
