6 Insurance and Other Legal Requirements <br />6.1 Insurance <br />Contractor, and any subcontractor responsible for providing Services under this Contract shall <br />maintain insurance coverage in the amounts shown below during the entire term of the Contract. <br />Each Contractor and any subcontractor hired may combine the identified underlying coverage <br />with umbrella or excess coverage to meet the minimum limits identified below. The City shall be <br />named as an additional insured on each individual Contractor's commercial general liability, <br />auto, and umbrella policies via blanket -form endorsement. Certificates of said insurance <br />evidencing all of the coverages listed below, as well as evidence that the City has been named as <br />an additional insured on the policies, shall be provided to the City by each Contractor before any <br />work under this Contract may commence. Haulers shall not allow any subcontractor to <br />commence work until all insurance has been obtained and certificates of insurance have been <br />filed and accepted by the City. Each Contractor shall maintain a valid certificate of insurance <br />referencing the limits included below on file with the City. <br />A. Commercial General Liability. Contractor shall maintain Commercial General Liability <br />insurance protecting it from claims for damages for bodily injury, including sickness or <br />disease, death, and for care and loss of services as well as from claims for property damage, <br />including loss of use which may arise from operations under the Contract whether the <br />operations are by the Contractor or by a subcontractor or by anyone directly or indirectly <br />employed by the Contractor under the Contract. Insurance minimum limits are as follows: <br />1) Per occurrence: $2,000,000 <br />2) Annual aggregate: $4,000,000 <br />3) Annual aggregate —Products/Completed Operations: $2,000,000 <br />The following coverage shall be included: <br />1) Premises and Operations Bodily Injury and Property Damage <br />2) Personal and Advertising Injury <br />3) Blanket Contractual Liability <br />4) Products and Completed Operations Liability <br />B. Business Automotive Liability. Contractor shall maintain insurance protecting it from <br />claims for damages for bodily injury as well as from claims for property damage resulting <br />from the ownership, operation, maintenance, or use of autos which may arise from <br />operations under this Contract, and in case any work is subcontracted the Contractor will <br />require the subcontractor to maintain Commercial Automobile Liability insurance. <br />Insurance minimum limits are as follows: <br />1) Per occurrence Combined Single limit for Bodily Injury and Property Damage: <br />$2,000,000. <br />2) Coverage must include: Owned, Hired, and Non -owned Automobile. <br />RFP for City of Roseville Recycling Services .
