The system should <br />allow for the City to utilize updated technology to meet the advanced needs of customers <br />as well as the needs of the department. <br /> <br />The City will evaluate all or environment options. Please supply software <br />and services pricing with all these options in mind. Please include a detailed list of all <br />rd <br />recommended hardware (card readers, e.g.) and 3 Party software (payment processors, <br />e.g.) requirements. Also include a budget estimate for these hardware and Third Party <br />software components. The City reserves the right to procure these components on its own <br />if it decides upon a hosted solution. <br /> <br />1.2 Project Summary <br />The City of Roseville, incorporated in 1948, is located in Ramsey County, with an <br />estimated 2021 population of 35,566. The City is located 15 minutes north of both <br />downtown Minneapolis and downtown St. Paul. <br />The Roseville Parks and Recreation Department is a CAPRA accredited agency and <br />provides outstanding parks and recreation programs and facilities to the community. <br />The department is made up of Cedarholm Golf Course, Roseville Skating Center, <br />Harriet Alexander Nature Center, Gymnastics Center, Dance and Wellness Studio, 32 <br />parks and over 600 acres of parkland. <br />The City has been utilizing a number of systems to manage parks and recreation <br />components. ActiveNet has been used since 2005 for all of its activity registrations <br />and facility reservations. Other systems are being used for specialty functions such as <br />ice rentals, league management, and golf management. At this time, the focus of the <br />RFP will be activity registration and facility reservation, however, additional modules <br />may be considered. <br />The current software (ActiveNet) is used to register participants for classes and <br />programs and to manage facility bookings.
