Attachment C <br />Additional Costs and City Staff Role <br />The CITY will absorb costs for meetings including space and food (if needed). It will also cover costs of <br />photocopying materials for meetings of Committee. (An original document will be provided by consultant.), <br />If used, the city will pay for postage and printing for any materials provided in paper form for the advisory <br />input etc. The CITY will also handle internal and external communications and do final formatting of the plan <br />to fit internal needs and expectations. <br />Consultant <br />Barbara Raye, Executive Director of the CENTER will be the primary consultant on the project. Raye has <br />provided facilitation and strategic planning consulting services to several nonprofit and public sector <br />organizations in Minnesota area including Women’s Foundation of Minnesota, Minnesota Center for <br />Environmental Advocacy, Courage-St. Croix, St. Paul Port Authority, and International Women’s Media <br />Foundation and Hosteling International. <br /> <br />Barbara has a master’s degree in business administration from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, <br />MN. She also has specialized training in Minnesota Quality Award Criteria, Asset-Based Community <br />Development, the National Futurists, "Shared Participation", Fellowship of Reconciliation "Children's <br />Creative Response to Conflict”, Carver Policy Governance Model, and Myers-Briggs Qualification. She <br />received her basic mediation training from CDR Associates in Boulder, Colorado and has co-trained with <br />them nationally.
