Attachment C <br />PFund Strategic Plan, FY 2008 –FY 2010 <br />(July 2007) <br />Grants & Programming: PFund’s funding and programmatic work will be expanded to <br />attract applications from its entire service area and will demonstrate a strong <br />commitment to funding within a social justice context. <br />Strategies: <br />1. PFund will strengthen grant making and increase the number of applicants for grants <br />and scholarships from outside the Twin Cities metro area. <br /> <br />2. PFund will, by FY 2010, distribute twice the funds awarded in FY 2007 ($60,000) <br /> <br />3. PFund will offer increased technical assistance to organizations. <br /> <br />4. PFund will make grant funding within a social justice context a priority. <br /> <br />5. PFund will increase the amount of the Power of One grant. <br /> <br />6. PFund will explore making an annual “signature” grant. FY08 <br /> <br />7. PFund will evaluate the impact of its organizational grants. <br /> <br />8. PFund will revisit the scholarship guidelines to determine whether recipients will be <br />eligible to reapply for scholarship assistance. FY08 <br /> <br />9. PFund will make its application more accessible by simplifying the application and <br />developing an on-line application process. <br /> <br />10. PFund’s scholarship awards program will match its service area by FY10 <br /> <br />11. Study alternative review processes: poll other GLBT foundations about their <br />process <br /> <br />Results: PFund will give out more money in larger grants, while accurately reflecting <br />PFund’s mission and the geographic area it serves. <br /> <br /> <br />Development:PFund will increase the number of major donors ($1,000 plus), and <br />expand the number of donors from Iowa, Wisconsin, North Dakota and South Dakota. <br />Strategies: <br />1. PFund will increase the number of major donors by increasing in-person contacts and <br />engaging BOD more fully in development to generate $290,000 in unrestricted annual <br />giving by 2010. <br /> <br />2.
