Attachment C <br />Workplan and Methodology <br />PHASE I: Research and Review <br />August 2024, In-person or virtual <br />Strategy Design Session <br />Consultants, City Manager, Assistant City Manager <br />(SDS) <br />We will facilitate a two-hour Strategy Design Session where we’ll create working agreements, agree on key <br />stakeholder involvement and methods, best timing, the optimum conditions for navigating the organizational <br />change associated with strategic planning decisions, tackling unforeseen issues, and finalizing the scope. <br />Examplesofquestions we’ll be exploring: <br />•Who do you HAVE TO hear from? <br />•What is the developmental state of the team/board/organization <br />•What stressors and supports are on the system you operate in currently <br />•What is your organizational level of alignment? <br />•What do you know you know? What do you know you don’t know? <br />•Creating agreements around how we navigate unanticipated issues that emerge <br />Examplesofcomponents we’ll be identifying: <br />•What you most need to understand from your stakeholders to create a relevant strategicplan <br />•Key stakeholder groups <br />•Best methods for gathering key stakeholder input, i.e., focus groups, surveys, interviews etc. <br />•Timeline, set dates for retreats, focus groupsand key contacts <br />•Timing and best methods for touching base along the way <br />The Strategy Design Session is an essential first step for ensuring clarity, expectations, roles, and the best <br />environment for completing our work together. The contract will be based on the scope that is finalized during <br />the SDS. Please note, my proposal is based on my assessment of need given the information I have access to <br />while writing my proposal. <br />August 2024 to end of project <br />Touchpoints <br />Mary Kay Delvo, City Manager, Assistant City Manager <br />We will have regular touchpoint meetings/calls to provide updates, gain ongoing guidance from COR and to <br />address any unanticipated challenges or shifts. Either the consultant or client may request a touchpoint. <br />August 2024 <br />Research & Review <br />Consultant only <br />We will review all COR the latest strategic plan, operational processes, organizational chart, community input <br />reportandotherorganizational documents that may help us understand the full context of the processes for <br />integrating the newstrategicplan.Our review helps to inform the questions we ask in focus groups and <br />during the facilitated strategic planning retreats. <br />Pg. 7 <br />Qbhf!79!pg!2:4 <br /> <br />
