What disparities were identified in the available <br />data? <br />Our survey was offered only online and in English, so business owners and residents who speak <br />little or no English, or who lack internet access, were unable to complete the survey. We included <br />an optional demographics question in the business survey, and the majority of respondents were <br />white. <br />Additionally, we received 19 responses of 142 unique businesses, representing 13% of the <br />population we were hoping to reach. What is the <br />communicationstrategy to keep stakeholdersengaged?(Forinformation on <br />engagement strategies, email Thomas.brooks@cityofroseville.com) <br />The feedback we have received from businessescenters around two major themes: the increased <br />cost of compostable/recyclable supplies, and concerns about materials being disposed of properly <br />once the consumer has them. <br />We conducted a mix of outreach – sending emails with information, connecting with professional <br />organizations, in-person outreach, and two community meetings.
