The interior lights were replcaed in 2019 as part of the parking lot project. The remaining
5 poles would be replaced as part of this project. There is an amount of $43,593 remaining in the 2024 Street Lighting CIP Fund that was previously allocated to a PattoRd system project,
which was able to be completed underbudget. Quotes were taken from three vendors, with Voss Lighting coming in as the lowest quote. Staff has requested that the City Council authorize
a purchase order to Bituminous Roadways in the amount of $96,453.50 to extend storm sewer pipe in preparation for a lift station project, removing/replacing curb and driveway aprons
to keep public water in the street, and adding storm sewer to reduce overland flow issues. There were two quotes that were received with Bituminous Roadways coming in with the lowest
quote. This project would be funded out of the 2024 Storm Water CIP Fund. It is being requested for authorization to purchase a 2026 Western Star single axle cab and chassis from Boyer
Trucks, Inc. per the Minnesota State Bid Contract T-647(5) #194857 in the amount of $131,239 to replace our current 2013 International which is scheduled for replacement in 2025. The
proposed 2025 Public Works Vehicle and Equipment Replacement Fund includes a budget of $311,000 for a single axle plow truck replacement. Due to long build dates we are having to purchase
plow truck cab and chassis 12 months out prior to replacement. With the request for authorization of purchase for the 2026 Western Star single axle cab and chassis, an additional purchase
order is being requested for the truck to be fitted for use (truck box, hydraulics and plow package) from Towmaster Truck Equipment on the Minnesota State Bid Contract S-863(5) #222949
in the amount of $160,897. This would be apart of the $311,000 that is currently proposed within the 2025 Public Works Vehicle and Equipment Replacement Fund.
(a)(c)
(b)(d)
)
Key
DivisionVendorDescriptionKe
Public Works (Storm)Bituminous RoadwaysDrainage Improvement(b)
Public Works (Streets)Public Works (Streets)
Public Works (Street Lighting
General Purchases or Contracts
