2024 Capital Improvement Plan <br />Project/Initiative Summary <br />Department/Division: Storm Sewer <br />Project/Initiative Title: <br />Water Quality Device Rehabilitation <br />Total Estimated Cost: $4,000 <br />Funding Source: Storm Sewer Fund (Utility fees) <br />Annual Operating Budget Impact: $0 <br />Project/Initiative Description: <br />This line item is to replace or rehab portions of water quality devices or best management practices <br />(BMP’s) within the storm sewer system within the city. Many of these ponds, rain gardens, <br />manholes and other devices are over 25 years old and are at the end of the expected design life. <br />The City typically uses this line item to perform pond dredging, expand storage capacity of ponds <br />and basin, replace rain gardens or rehab other BMP devices. This extends the life of these devices <br />another 25 years, lessens the risk of flooding, and provides better water quality treatment. <br />Location: <br />Various Locations in the City <br />Qbhf!228!pg!26: <br /> <br />
