<br />ATTACHMENT 1 <br />Law Enforcement Labor Services, Inc., Local #478 (Roseville Deputy Chief) <br />Contract Negotiations <br />Initial Meeting: 7/08/2024 <br />TENTATIVE AGREEMENT <br />The following items have been tentatively agreed to by LELS Local #478 and the City of <br />Roseville and will be incorporated into a contract that will be sent for final approval. <br />1.Duration: January 1, 2025 – December 31, 2026 <br />2.Definitions: (Article 3) Added definition for Business Hours and alphabetized them. <br />3.Work Schedules: (Article 12) Clarifying language added regarding the position’s <br />FLSA status. <br />4.Wages and Compensation: (Article 13) Agreed upon wages for 2025 – 2026. <br />January 1, 2025January 1, 2026 <br />Step 1 (Start) $73.37$76.33 <br />Step 2 (6 months)$77.03$80.13 <br />Step 3 (Year 1)$80.89$84.15 <br />Step 4 (Year 2)$84.14$87.53 <br />5.Overtime: (Article 13) Allowing additional compensation at the overtime rate of the <br />top Sergeant under the following circumstances: <br />a.When not scheduled to work, and outside of Business Hours, EMPLOYEE may <br />work law-enforcement related overtime that is grant or contract funded in <br /> accordance with the EMPLOYER’S rules and regulations. <br />b.When required to respond to the police department (or other physical location) <br />following a critical incident after regular business hours on a Friday, or at any <br />time on a Saturday, Sunday, or Holiday. Such overtime pay will only be paid <br />when the requirement for EMPLOYEE to be at the police department (or other <br />physical location) as a result of the critical incident would require EMPLOYEE to <br />work in excess of forty (40) hours in a work week and where EMPLOYEE was <br />unable to reduce hours after the critical incident within the current pay period to <br />compensate for the time spent as described herein related to the critical incident. <br />c.When designated by the Chief of Police to work in the role of Patrol Sergeant <br />where the City was not otherwise able to fill the Patrol Sergeant shift with a <br />qualified, lower-raking employee. Such overtime hours must be outside Business <br />Hours on a Friday, or any time on a Saturday, Sunday or Holiday, to maintain <br />minimum patrol staffing levels. The unfilled overtime shift must first have been <br />offered to officers and sergeants, gone unfilled and fall within the next 7 days. <br />6.Uniforms (Article 17): Updates the dates for the uniform allowance. <br />LELS 478- DRAFT TA 2025-2026 <br />Qbhf!257!pg!26: <br /> <br />
