Attachment 1 <br />leNZ-AR <br />Public Works Department <br />Memo <br />To: Public Works Environmental and Transportation Commission Members <br />From: Jennifer Lowry, City Engineer <br />Date: October 18, 2024 <br />Re: Communications Items <br />The following are updates to projects and other activities happening in Roseville since the last <br />commission meeting: <br />Roseville Public Works project updates: <br />• McCarron Retaining Wall Replacement <br />o Construction of the wall is complete. Restoration should be completed, and the road <br />reopened, by the end of October. <br />• County Road B Reconstruction, west of Cleveland Avenue <br />o The project will be substantially complete by the end of October. As assessment <br />hearing will be scheduled for late 2024 or early 2025. <br />• 2024 PMP <br />o Portions of the PMP in the Midland Hills neighborhood adjacent to the reconstruction <br />project and Midland Grove Road have been milled and are scheduled for paving the <br />week of October 21. Other streets that are a part of the PMP are complete. <br />• County Road B Reconstruction from Snelling Avenue to Lexington Avenue (Ramsey County) <br />o Work is ongoing east of Pascal Street. Traffic is only open to eastbound traffic. <br />o The overall project is anticipated to be complete the week of November 11. <br />• 2024 Sewer Lining Project <br />o Project is complete. <br />• 2024 Pathways Project <br />o The project is currently in design and includes Lexington Avenue, between County <br />Road B and TH 36, the Wagner Street to Western Avenue cul-de-sac connection, and <br />Tamarack Park pathways, shown in Attachment 2. The project will be bid later this <br />year, with construction in 2025. <br />• Lighting <br />o A streetlight update will be given at the meeting. <br />o Staff is working to repair the Dale Street Tunnel Lights. <br />o City Hall parking lot lights will be replaced in the next few weeks. <br />• Bike Plan <br />o The draft provided last September was not ready for committee nor public review. <br />Staff met with the consulting team and revisions are being made.
