The False alarm fees for Fire alarms have a proposed increase. 43 Lines 92-93: There are proposed increases for penalties associated with violations related to 44 open fires and fire code violations. 45 Lines 99-100: These penalties are listed in Chapter 3 related to Lawful gambling but were not 46 included in the previous schedule. 47 Lines 103-104: These penalties are listed in Chapter 3 related to Tobacco products but were not 48 fully incorporated into the previous schedule. 49 Line 110: This penalty is listed in Chapter 3 related to Local Lodging taxes but was not included 50 in the previous schedule. 51 Line 115-116: These penalties are listed in Chapter 3 related to THC products but wer not fully 52 incorporated into the previous schedule. 53 Line 118: Hotel Licensing penalties recently adopted have been added. 54 Line 119: This penalty is listed in Chapter 4 related to Recycling but was not included in the 55 previous schedule. 56 Line 135: This penalty for Public Nuisance (repeat) has a proposed increase from $100 to $105 57 Line 140: The Stormwater non-compliance penalty has been moved from the fee schedule to the 58 Administrative Penalty section. 59 60 General Business Licenses & Permit Fees 61 Line 6: This penalty has been removed from the fee section and moved to the penalty schedule. 62 Line 8: The investigation fee associated with Cigarette and tobacco products has been reordered 63 and additional clarification was added to the description. 64 Lines 10, 13, 16 and 29-30: Proposed increase to fees. 65 Lines 31- 35: These are being moved to the Permit/Plan review section. 66 Lines 52,54,57: Proposed increase to fees. 67 Lines 69-70: Hotel License fees have been added. 68 Lines 72-75: Proposed increase to fees. 69 Lines 78-79: These fees were incorrect in the previous fee schedule and have been corrected. 70 Lines 82, 89-95, 102: Description has been updated to reflect the correct license title from City 71 code. 72 Line 85: This has been moved to the penalty schedule 73 Line 106: A new fee for background checks for individual massage therapists is proposed. 74 Currently the license fee only covers approximately half of the cost of staff time to issue a new 75 license. A significant amount of time is spent on the background portion of the license. Therefore 76 a new background investigation fee is proposed for initial or new licenses. 77 Line 108: Similar to the individual massage therapist license, when a massage establishment 78 applies for a license, the current fee only covers a portion of the cost of staff time to issue the 79 license and conduct background checks. Therefore an increase to the license fee is proposed to 80 cover costs. 81 Lines 117-122, 126, 132-135, 139-141, 143, 157: Proposed increase to fees. 82 Lines 146-152, 158: Proposed update to fees. This includes the removal of one fee based on the 83 addition of language to line 150 for clarification purposes. 84 Line 155: New fee proposed. 85 Line 159: These are being removed from the fee schedule as they are currently set/approved 86 with the Utility Rates. 87 Line 161: Short-Term Rental License - failure to renew within 5 days fee has been removed, as it 88 is simply a new license application that is required. 89 Line 163: The fee is being removed as it is no longer needed. 90 Lines 165-167: Proposed increase to fees. 91 Line 168: This has been moved from the Community Development Miscellaneous fee section.
