A significant amount of time is spent on the background portion of the license. Therefore <br />76 a new background investigation fee is proposed for initial or new licenses. <br />77 Line 108: Similar to the individual massage therapist license, when a massage establishment <br />78 applies for a license, the current fee only covers a portion of the cost of staff time to issue the <br />79 license and conduct background checks. Therefore an increase to the license fee is proposed to <br />80 cover costs. <br />81 Lines 117-122, 126, 132-135, 139-141, 143, 157: Proposed increase to fees. <br />82 Lines 146-152, 158: Proposed update to fees.
