As the City’s legislative
100 policies are mostly centered around state laws and policies, a broader state-wide equity lens is needed
101 to ensure that racial equity disparities are addressed. As the Legislature considers the City’s legislative
102 priorities, the City will advocate that racial equity impacts are considered in the drafting and
103 consideration of the legislation.
104
105 Budget Implications
106 Not directly applicable to the Legislative Priorities. However individual items may have a cost impact to
107 the City, either negatively or positively, depending on the topic and outcome.
108
109 Staff Recommendations
110 Staff recommends the City Council should review the draft and consider approval of the City's 2025
111 Legislative Priorities
112
113 Requested Council Action
114 The City Council should should review the draft and consider approval of the City's 2025 Legislative
115 Priorities
116
117
Patrick Trudgeon, City Manager (651) 792-7021 pat.trudgeon@cityofroseville.com
Prepared by:
1.
