IG[iFRITT-iiiil <br />leNZ-AR <br />Public Works Department <br />Memo <br />To: Public Works Environmental and Transportation Commission Members <br />From: Jennifer Lowry, City Engineer <br />Date: November 20, 2024 <br />Re: Communications Items <br />The following are updates to projects and other activities happening in Roseville since the last <br />commission meeting: <br />Roseville Public Works project updates: <br />• McCarron Retaining Wall Replacement <br />o Complete <br />• County Road B Reconstruction, west of Cleveland Avenue <br />o Complete. An assessment hearing will be scheduled for late 2024 or early 2025. <br />• 2024 PMP <br />o Complete. <br />• County Road B Reconstruction from Snelling Avenue to Lexington Avenue (Ramsey County) <br />o Opened to traffic on November 19. <br />• 2024 Sewer Lining Project <br />o Complete. <br />• 2024 Pathways Project <br />o The project is currently in design and includes Lexington Avenue, between County <br />Road B and TH 36, the Wagner Street to Western Avenue cul-de-sac connection, and <br />Tamarack Park pathways. <br />• Lighting <br />o Repair of the Dale Street Tunnel Lights and replacement of the City Hall parking lot <br />lights scheduled before Thanksgiving. <br />o Neel is in the process of installing 14 new streetlights per City request, based on new <br />lighting policy. <br />• Bike Plan <br />Staff has received a new draft from the consultants. When ready, a draft will be shared <br />with the Bike Plan Committee, PWET and the Parks Commission, and the public for <br />review and comment. <br />The demonstration project, intended to be the addition of buffer and bollard -protected <br />bike lanes on Hamline Avenue, between County Road B and County Road B2, is in <br />design and anticipated to be installed next spring or summer. <br />Page 7 of 33 <br />
