Attachment 7 <br />Respond to contractor requests for information (RFIs) and clarification during construction. Revise <br />drawings as needed to communicate design team and/or Owner response. <br />Issue Proposal Requests (PR’s) and Architectural Supplemental Instructions (ASI’s) as required. <br />Virtual attendance at construction progress meetings (assumed to combine both buildings and sites) <br />which will be held approximately every other week up to a total of twenty-two (22) one-hour meetings. <br />Review of shop drawings and submittals. <br />Up to three (3) site visits (one for each bid package) during construction to observe if work is proceeding <br />in accordance with the construction documents. <br />Review and certify contractor applications for payment. <br />Three (3) site visits (one for each bid package) at substantial completion to participate in contractor led <br />punch list. Contractor to provide initial list of corrective action and unfinished work. LHB will review and <br />add additional items identified during the punch list walk. <br />Assumptions and Exclusions <br />1.Public, agency, focus group, or stakeholder meetings beyond those described above are excluded. <br />2.No services have been included for preparation of any required Variance, Conditional Use, or Special Use <br />permits. <br />3.No coordination or permits are included for the watershed or other entities. All permits are the responsibility of <br />the Owner and/or Contractor(s). <br />4.A survey suitable for entitlement and construction is provided by the Owner. <br />5.The Geotechnical Report will be provided by the Owner. LHB will assist with preparation of the Geotechnical <br />Request for Proposal if needed. <br />6.Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP) will not be required due to the size of this project. <br />7.Construction layout and staking will be done by the Contractor. <br />8.Construction testing will be provided by the Owner. <br />9.If the scope of services identified by this proposal has not been completed within twelve (12) months of the <br />date of this proposal through no fault of LHB, additional compensation will be negotiated for an extension of <br />LHB’s services. <br />10.If the project commences later than three (3) months past the date of this proposal, LHB reserves the right to <br />review and renegotiate compensation. <br />11.If the project is placed on hold after initial commencement for a period of more than thirty (30) days, LHB <br />reserves its right to adjust its fees to reflect re-startup costs. <br />12.If other services are required, LHB will work with you to determine a fee before beginning this work to provide <br />a more accurate estimate based on the type of service and level of staff involvement anticipated. <br />Qbhf!285!pg!354 <br /> <br />
