Attachment 5 1 EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING 2 OF THE 3 CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE 4 5 * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * 6 7 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of rd 8 Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 3 day of March 2025, at 6:00 9 p.m. 10 11 The following members were present:, Schroeder, Groff, Bauer, Strahan, and Mayor Roe. 12 and the following were absent: None. 13 14 Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: 15 16 17 RESOLUTION No. 18 19 A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATION FOR ISSUANCE OF A HOTEL 20 LICENSE FOR CYRV LLC DOING BUSINESS AS COURTYARD BY MARRIOTT 21 ROSEVILLE. 22 23 WHEREAS, Minnesota Statute Section 471.585 authorizes a city to require hotels operating 24 within the boundaries of the city to have a valid license issued by the city; and 25 26 WHEREAS, the City of Roseville adopted Ordinance Number 1674 (the “Ordinance”) on April 27 8, 2024 requiring such licenses and establishing certain regulations related to such licenses; and 28 29 WHEREAS, CYRV LLC, doing business as Courtyard by Marriott Roseville (the “Applicant”), 30 has applied for a license to operate a hotel at 2905 Centre Pointe Drive in the City of Roseville 31 (the “Premises”); and 32 33 WHEREAS, the Ordinance requires that, prior to issuance of any license, all premises where the 34 Hotel is located must comply with all relevant health and safety codes; and 35 36 WHEREAS, the City has conducted inspections of the Premises and has now verified that it is in 37 compliance with all relevant health and safety codes; 38 39 WHEREAS, the Ordinance also requires that any Owner, Operator, or manager of a Hotel may 40 not have had a repeat nuisance service call fee imposed; and 41 42 WHEREAS, the City has determined that there have been no repeat nuisance service call fees 43 imposed against the Owner, Operator, or manager; 44 RS160\\25\\1011936.v2 Qbhf!29!pg!242
