• MnDOT <br />o TH 36 Multimodal Study Document <br />• Final report has been drafted, and staff will let PWET know when it is <br />released. <br />o Snelling Design from TH 36 to Grey Fox Road <br />• In design for 2026 resurfacing and will include off -road pathway west of <br />Snelling Avenue from Lydia Avenue to the north. <br />o TH 280 Design from Wabash Avenue in St. Paul to I35 W <br />• In design for 2026 resurfacing <br />• Other <br />o G Line (Metro Transit) <br />• Planning and design continue for construction 2026-2028 <br />o Flood Mitigation Project (Capitol Region Watershed District) <br />• Trout Brook Interceptor (TBI) Detailed Modeling Project identified <br />potential flood mitigation opportunities at Roseville Lutheran Church and <br />at Falcon Heights United Church. Design and estimates are being <br />developed for further discussion. <br />Engineering Updates: <br />• Recycling Contract <br />o Staff continue to negotiate with Waste Management on the next recycling contract <br />that runs from July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2030. Staff will meet with Council on <br />March 3 to either approve a final contract with Waste Management, or to discuss <br />the option of looking at a different vendor if Waste Management and the City can't <br />come to a mutual agreement. <br />• Kristofer Paulseth started in Parks and Rec as new Forestry and Natural Resources <br />Supervisor. <br />Sustainability Updates: <br />• Staff presented recommendations for discontinuing Less Mow May to City Council on <br />February 10. Council voted to revoke the original resolution in support of Less Mow May <br />and broaden the focus to year-round support of pollinator health. <br />• Green -To -Go ordinance implementation is underway, and staff is on track to meet with 14 <br />businesses throughout the month of February. <br />• Staff attended the first E-bike Policy Summit hosted by BikeMN and the UMN Center for <br />Transportation Studies on February 12. Discussions included new growth and uses for e- <br />bikes, lending programs, mode shift, parking and charging, and legal implications for <br />increasing safety. <br />• Staff is partnering with local group Resilient Roseville to give a presentation on <br />"Nurturing Resilience, Optimism, and Hope in the face of Climate Change" on Sunday, <br />February 23 from 2:30-3:30pm at the Autumn Grove park building. <br />PWET Communications Memo Page 3 <br />Page 13 of 43 <br />
