Community Development Department 2660 Civic Center Drive Roseville, MN 55113 <br />ATTACHMENT 1 <br />October 18, 2024 <br />tending the Hotel Licensing inspection for 2401 Prior Avenue on October 15, <br />Thank you for at <br />2024. The following report documents the inspection results and items that require correction. <br />Correct the following items within 5 days: <br />1.Provide all testing, inspection, and maintenance records for: <br />a.The fire sprinkler system <br />b.The fire alarm system <br />c.Fire hydrants, <br />d.Backflow preventers – plumbing and fire sprinkler. <br />e.Elevator (reports on site indicate the elevator has not been inspected since 2022). <br />f.Ramsey County Environmental Health. <br />2.South side, exterior of building, electrical socket without a cover. <br />3.Provide documentation that Carbon Monoxide Detectors are installed per MN Statute <br />299F.51 Subd. 1 b. “Every guest room in a hotel or lodging house must have an approved <br />and operation carbon monoxide alarm installed in each room lawfully used for sleeping <br />purposes.” <br />4.City Code Section 317.04A #10 states, “No Interested Person, employee, manager, or <br />contractor performing services of any kind may reside in a Guestroom at the Hotel.” <br />5.City Code Section 317.04A 12 g states that, “Clothes closet or alcove with clothes rod or <br />clothes rack permanently affixed or luggage rack or luggage support counter” shall be <br />provided. <br />6.Provide smoking signs inside of each entrance in compliance with the MN Clean Indoor <br />Air Act <br />7.Provide a report from a MN-Licensed Electrical Engineer addressing the following <br />issues: <br />a.Widespread electrical work throughout the building without permits. <br />Qbhf!36!pg!558 <br /> <br />
