34 There are nine (9) approved Park & Ride locations in Roseville per the approved interim
35 use resolution passed in 2022. It expires in September of 2026 so it is good for the next two
36 State Fairs. It would need to be renewed after the 2026 State Fair to continue to use all the
37 Park & Rides in the city. The St. Rose of Lima location is the closest to Falcon Heights.
38 There are temporary parking restrictions on most of the streets near St. Rose of Lima due
39 to the Park & Ride as well as the proximity to the fair. Some additional streets such as
40 Draper Avenue could be posted, if needed.
41
42 Policy Objectives
43 It is City policy to keep City-owned infrastructure in good operating condition and to keep
44 systems operating in a safe condition.
45
46 Equity Impact Summary
47 There should be no equity impacts associated with this discussion topic.
48
49 Budget Implications
50 There should be no budget implications at this time.
51
52 Staff Recommendations
53 Staff recommends the council have a discussion on the impacts of the new Falcon Heights
54 ordinance and provide direction to staff if needed.
55
56 Requested Council Action
57 None.
58
59
Jesse Freihammer, Public Works Director
Prepared by:
1.
