City of Roseville Pathway Master Plan <br /> <br />The results of the scoring exercise will be used by the City to assist in prioritizing future <br />pathway projects as part of the annual capital improvement program update. <br />However, it is important to note the list of preferred projects will not be implemented <br />based on the ranking results, as this list is intended to be updated periodically. In <br />addition, there are several factors that can affect the timing and cost of developing <br />pathway projects. These factors include coordination with planned roadway <br />improvements (when it may be most feasible to construct new pathway segments), <br />the availability of right-of-way, utilities, constructability, and magnitude of project in <br />terms of both length and cost. For example, if a proposed pathway project is located <br />along a roadway that is programmed for reconstruction, then coordinating the <br />pathway improvements with the road improvements is the best opportunity to <br />implement the project (regardless of project ranking).
