• 2025 Pavement Management Project <br />o Bid opening scheduled for April 21. <br />• Wayfinding Signage <br />o Pedestrian level signs are being manufactured, and permits being obtained for <br />installation summer 2025. <br />• Lighting <br />o New streetlights installation underway by Neel per City request, based on new <br />lighting policy. <br />o Staff is working to replace Centre Pointe Drive and Arthur Street lighting with a <br />new contract with Neel for later in 2025. <br />• Bike Plan <br />o Edits are being made to the draft. Next steps will include review by PWET and the <br />Parks Commission, and the public. <br />o The demonstration project, intended to be the addition of buffer and bollard - <br />protected bike lanes on Hamline Avenue, between County Road B and County <br />Road B2, is anticipated to be installed the week of May 12 or 19. <br />Other agency project updates: <br />• Ramsey County <br />o Dale Street from Lovell Avenue into St. Paul <br />• Work has resumed on the mill, overlay and 4 to 3 lanes restriping. <br />o Hamlin Avenue/Clarmar Lane Storm Sewer <br />• County to add to and replace existing storm sewer to address flooding and <br />aging infrastructure in Fall 2025. <br />o County Road D from Highcrest Road to 88 <br />• City reviewed draft plans for ADA and pavement improvements (mill and <br />overlay) for 2025 construction. <br />o County Road C 4-3 Conversion from Lexington to 35E and bridge over railroad <br />• 4-3 lane conversion with mill and overlay scheduled for 2026. <br />• Bridge redecking or replacement received federal funding —schedule <br />TBD. <br />• MnDOT <br />o TH 36 Multimodal Study Document <br />• Final report has been drafted, and staff will let PWET know when it is <br />released. <br />o Snelling Design from TH 36 to Grey Fox Road <br />• In design for 2026 resurfacing and will include off -road pathway west of <br />Snelling Avenue from Lydia Avenue to the north. <br />o TH 280 Design from Wabash Avenue in St. Paul to I35 W <br />• In design for 2026 resurfacing. <br />• Other <br />o G Line (Metro Transit) <br />• Planning and design continue for construction 2026-2028 <br />o Flood Mitigation Project (Capitol Region Watershed District) <br />PWET Communications Memo Page 2 <br />Page 11 of 57 <br />
