SEP 1 5 2025
Sharon Lewandowski
1235 Eldridge Av W
Roseville, MN 55113
City clerk, Council members,
I am disturbed to read about the possible changes to the food waste, compost site
on Dale near Co. Rd C. This site is greatly used by tax paying Roseville residents. I
am 75 years old. I am grateful to be able to deposit my food wastes and take
buckets of compost back to my yard for my vegetable gardens and flowers. Every
visit to this site I encounter other residents using this site respectfully and in
order with the intended use.
I am sorry there are a very few that are misusing this site. Please, do not
discontinue the site due to the misuse of a few, when hundreds of others use this
.privilege responsibly. This compost site is good for the community, good for the
environment, and good for the many young people who travel past this site to see
how natural composition and environment protection (and the City of Roseville)
can work for our good and the good of the earth.
Instead of closing, consider other options, perhaps a free will "pay as you are
able' or cameras to catch the perpetrators.
Thank you for your consideration.
Sincerely,
