Awebpage with more info can be found on Falcon Heights' <br />website. <br />o Metro Micro Pilot (Metro Transit) <br />• An update was by Metro Transit (Attachment 5) <br />Engineering Updates: <br />• Erik attended the American Public Works Association (APWA) conference in <br />Chicago. <br />• Jennifer participated in STEM Day at the State Fair and SHE Engineers at the Works <br />Museum. <br />• All interns have returned to school, but staff is preparingjob postings for next year's <br />opportunities. <br />Environmental & Sustainability Updates: <br />• Staff managed zero waste with the help of 12 volunteers at FOR Parks' Tapped and <br />Uncorked event on Friday, September 19. The event reached a 95% rate of waste <br />diversion! <br />• Staff metwith consultant paleBLUEdot to kick off the Climate Equity Action Plan. A <br />website with info and a survey is now available at cityofroseville.com/climate- <br />equity. <br />• Staff attended Ramsey County's Environmental Center fall open house on Tuesday, <br />September 23 to promote Roseville's sustainability work. <br />• Staff will be attending the Wild Rice Festival on Saturday, September27, promoting <br />the Climate Equity Action Plan and also ensuring that the event is a Zero Waste <br />event. <br />• Waste Management (WM) officially started recycling collection in Roseville on July 1. <br />Staff are continuing to work with WM to address several issues. WM has made <br />improvements to their call center where accurate information is provided more <br />often, collection of multi -units has improved, walk-up/valet service is being <br />provided, and residential misses are down. <br />Maintenance Updates: <br />Street and Storm <br />o Fall training for new and current staff. <br />o Ongoing street patching. <br />o Assist with Water Gate Valve replacements. <br />o Message painting citywide. <br />o Compost complete and stacked into pile. <br />o Ongoing storm sewer maintenance, sign work, R.O.W. mowing. <br />Water and Sanitary Sewer <br />PWET Communications Memo Page 3 <br />Page 7 of 175 <br />
