<br />REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION <br />Date: 9/22/2025 <br />Item No.: 9.a. <br />Department ApprovalCity Manager Approval <br />Item Description:Hold a Public Hearing to Consider Approving a Liquor License for Bright <br />Burger Rosedale LLC, dba Burger Dive, Located at 1595 Highway 36 W, Ste 1020 <br />1 <br />2 Background <br />3 Under City Code, a public hearing is required to consider approving liquor licenses for the <br />4 current calendar year. The City has received applications for the following: <br />5 Bright Burger Rosedale LLC dba Burger Dive, 1595 Highway 36 W, Ste 1020 – On <br />6 Sale/Sunday Liquor License with outdoor endorsement. <br />7 <br />8 Burger Dive currently has a licensed location inside the food hall at Rosedale mall, they are <br />9 opening an additional location with an external storefront and are required to obtain an <br />10 additional liquor license. <br />11 <br />12 Policy Objectives <br />13 The regulation of establishments that sell alcoholic beverages has been a long-standing <br />14 practice by the State and the City. <br />15 <br />16 Equity Impact Summary <br />17 There is no anticipated racial equity impact by approving this liquor license. <br />18 <br />19 Budget Implications <br />20 The correct fees were paid to the City at the time the application was made, the remaining <br />21 balance will be due prior to issuance of the license. <br />22 <br />23 Staff Recommendations <br />24 The applicant meets all requirements set forth under City Code. Staff recommends <br />25 approval pending submittal of any outstanding items.
