Scope of Services to be Provided <br />The services to the Owner may include multi-phased or multiple bid packages and have <br />complicated scheduling and coordination issues and the CMAR method is best suited <br />for this project. The CMAR will assist the Owner and Architect to determine the best <br />process for the project, to include scheduling and bid packaging opportunities. <br />The selected CMaR will not be allowed to self-perform any work. <br />Preconstruction <br />During pre-construction, the CMaR shall actively participate with Owner, the Architect, <br />and other design consultants in completing the construction documents. Additionally, the <br />selected CMaR is expected to help define and prioritize the scope of work within the <br />allocated budgets while working collaboratively with the Architect of the Schematic <br />Design through the completion of the Construction Documents phase. The <br />Preconstruction phase services include, but are not limited to, the following: <br />Scope <br /> Evaluate and assess the project program, schedule, and construction budget <br />established by Owner and Architect. <br /> Engage actively with Owner, Architect and other design professionals in a <br />manner that encourages and supports collaboration, cooperation, open <br />communication, and trust. <br />6 <br /> <br />Qbhf!298!pg!:15 <br /> <br />
