Attachment 2
2026 Capital Improvement Plan
Project/Initiative Summary
Department/Division: Skating Center
Project/Initiative Title: OVAL Bandy/Infield Netting
Total Estimated Cost: $15,000
Funding Source: CIP
Annual Operating Budget Impact: $1,000
Project/Initiative Description:
The Bandy/Infield netting was replaced in 2016; typical lifespan is 5-8 years. This netting divides the
interior hockey area from the OVAL track. It is used during the entire OVAL season including wind, snow
and ice conditions. It is essential that it remain in good working order to prevent pucks from the hockey
areas into the unprotected skaters on the track area.
The current netting is beginning to tear, which creates holes that require temporary patches. There are also
tears where the netting is connected to the suspension cablethat allows staff to open and close the netting.
Those tears are not easily fixed and will continue to get worse over time causing difficulty opening and
closing as well as creating safety concerns.

Asset Location:
Roseville Skating Center
Current Asset Installation Year:
2026
Expected Lifespan for Asset:
5-8 years
Asset Location:
OVAL Bandy/Infield Netting

Page 43
Qbhf!234!pg!472
