Attachment 2 <br />2026 Capital Improvement Plan <br /> Project/Initiative Summary <br />Department/Division: Parks <br />Project/Initiative Title: Owasso Ballfields Playground <br />Total Estimated Cost: $115,000 <br />Funding Source: Park Improvement Fund 411 <br />Annual Operating Budget Impact: <br />Project/Initiative Description: <br />Playgrounds installed prior to the Parks and Recreation Renewal Program Replacements in 2012 had an <br />industry standard expected useful life of 13 years, depending on use. Playgrounds installed after the 2012 <br />Renewal Program have an expected useful life of 20 years. This playground was installed in 1993 and is <br />in disrepair. <br />Staff were planning to replace this playground, in part due to the loss of Veterans Park.
