<br />Roseville Parks & Recreation Commission <br />Agenda Item <br />DATE:January 6, 2026 ITEM:5.b. <br />ITEM DESCRIPTION:Rosefest 2026 Overview <br />Background <br /> Staff are well into planning Rosefest 2026, the City’s annual community celebration. This year’s event will <br />begin on Monday, June 22, with the Rosefest Parade and conclude on Sunday, June 28. <br />As in past years, the largest day of Rosefest will be Saturday, June 27. Planned activities include the Run <br />for the Roses, Rosefest Golf Tournament, Porsche Car Show, and Party in the Park (featuring inflatables, <br />vendors, and a headline live music performance), culminating with the annual fireworks display. <br />In addition to returning events, staff are planning several new activities for 2026, including a skateboarding <br />event, a junior golf tournament, and a grass volleyball tournament. Staff will provide an overview of the <br />tentative Rosefest 2026 schedule and discuss the overall philosophy guiding event planning this year, <br />including balancing long-standing traditions with new offerings and ensuring broad community appeal. <br />Staff are providing this update to inform the Commission of the Rosefest 2026 plan and to invite general <br />feedback to help guide future planning efforts, including the mix of events and overall community focus. <br />Recommendation <br />Receive presentation, ask questions, and provide feedback. <br />Attachments <br />None <br />Qbhf!22!pg!29 <br /> <br />
