Roseville Parks & Recreation Commission
Agenda Item
DATE:January 6, 2026 ITEM:5.c.
ITEM DESCRIPTION:Electric Vehicle Charging in Parks and Recreation
Background
At the request of the Parks and Recreation Commission, staff will provide a general overview of the City of
Roseville’s current approach to electric vehicle (EV) charging. At this time, the City does not own or operate
any public EV charging stations. However, City policy and ordinances require EV-ready infrastructure to be
installed as part of certain new private developments and redevelopment projects, consistent with broader
sustainability and long-term infrastructure goals.
Staff will provide an overview of how EV charging can relate to Parks and Recreation, including potential
costs, opportunities, and insights gained from communities that have been early adopters of EV charging.
Recommendation
Receive presentation, ask questions, and provide feedback.
Attachments
None
Qbhf!23!pg!29
