Attachment 1 <br />Agreement for Financial Personnel Services <br />This Agreement (“Agreement”) is made by and between the City of Roseville, a municipal <br />corporation (hereinafter “City”), and the North East Metropolitan Area Municipal Internet <br />Working Collaborative, an intergovernmental unit organized under a joint powers agreement <br />pursuant to Minnesota Statutes section 471.59 (hereinafter “Metro-INET”) (collectively, the <br />“Parties”). <br />Recitals <br />WHEREAS, beginning in 1999, the City provided Information Technology services and personnel <br />to up to 44 local governmental units through a collaboration known as Metro-INET; <br />WHEREAS, beginning in 2021, Metro-INET became an independent organization providing IT <br />services to the local governmental units in the previous collaboration; <br />WHEREAS, through 2022, Metro-INET utilized City personnel to perform IT services, as well as <br />administrative services in Human Resources, Finance, and Legal services; <br />WHEREAS, beginning in 2023, Metro-INET is able to fully employ a workforce to perform such <br />services except those related to financial services; <br />WHEREAS, the City is agreeable to continue to make financial services personnel available to <br />Metro-INET on a contract basis; and, <br />WHEREAS, the parties wish to memorialize in writing their respective duties and obligations upon <br />which their contractual agreement is premised. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the promises and covenants hereinafter contained, and <br />intending to be legally bound thereby, the City and Metro-INET agree as follows: <br />1.Scope of Work Proposal. The City agrees to provide the professional services described in <br />Exhibit “A” attached hereto (“Work”) in consideration for the compensation set forth in <br />Provision 3 below. . <br />2.Term; Renewal. The term of this Agreement shall be from January 1, 2026, through <br />December 31, 2026, the date of signature by the Parties notwithstanding. <br />3.Compensation for Services.
