<br />tary. <br /> <br />The acceptance of a resignation shall not be necessary to <br /> <br />make it effective. <br /> <br />ARTICLE VIII <br />FISCAL YEAR <br /> <br />The fiscal year of NSAC shall be fixed by resolution of the <br /> <br />Board of Directors and may be changed by resolution of the Board <br /> <br />of Directors. <br /> <br />ARTICLE IX <br />NOTICES <br /> <br />section 1. <br /> <br />Notices. Whenever, under the provisions of the <br /> <br />statutes, or the Articles of Incorporation or of these By-Laws, <br /> <br />notice is required to be given to any Director or Committee <br /> <br />Member, it shall not be construed to mean personal notice, but <br /> <br />such notice may be given in writing, by mail, addressed to such <br /> <br />Director at his or her address as it appears on the records of <br /> <br />NSAC, with postage thereon pre-paid, and such notice shall be <br /> <br />deemed to be given at the time when the same shall be deposited <br /> <br />in the united states Mails. <br /> <br />Notice may also be given by tele- <br /> <br />gram, telex or telephone, followed by written confirmation within <br /> <br />five (5) days. <br /> <br />Section 2. <br /> <br />Waiver. <br /> <br />Whenever any notice is required to be <br /> <br />given under the provisions of the statues, or of the Articles of <br /> <br />Incorporation or of these By-Laws, a waiver thereof in writing, <br /> <br />signed by the person or persons entitled to said notice, whether <br /> <br />before or after the time stated therein, shall be deemed equiva- <br /> <br />lent thereto. <br /> <br />12 <br />
