contribute effectively to one of the advisory commissions. <br />Over the course of my career—from working in Latino <br />media to nonprofit media creating programming in 13 <br />languages, and now in government—I’ve had the <br />opportunity to work closely with many different communities, <br />learning about the unique challenges people face while also <br />seeing the strengths and rich traditions everyone brings to <br />the table making our collective community so amazing. <br />Through these relationships, I’ve been able to advocate for <br />and help create better ways to share information. For <br />example, while at the City of Minneapolis, I helped develop <br />five multilingual communications programs, and so far at <br />Ramsey County I have launched one program with a <br />second in the works.
