Everyone in the room briefly reintroduced themselves before Lydia provided updates on the current
status of the project as well as a reminder of the areas where stakeholder feedback can begin to
influence the design of the proposed facilities. Refer to the meeting presentation for additional
information.
2. Design Stations
a. Three stations were established to gather feedback on the exterior of the License and Passport Center
and Dance Studio (LPCDS), the screening opportunities at the Maintenance and Operation Centers
(MOC), and the opportunities and constraints for the parking lot and Veterans Park.
i. LPCDS: Looking for feedback on the building facades, including percentage of windows,
materiality, articulation, and height
1) Careful use of windows, leaning toward fewer but with the chosen windows to be intentional
and well -designed; angled/recessed windows were the most popular solution, but clerestory
was also positively received.
2) Brick received positive feedback, particularly textural components and heritage feel.
PERFORMANCE DRIVEN DESIGN /
LHBCORP.COM
