<br />VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Regular Meeting of the Village Council, May 14>> 1962, <br /> <br />8:00 PoM, <br /> <br />The Village Council met on the above date with the following members <br />present: Mayor McGee>> Trustees Flanagan, Goodrich, Kustermann and <br />Reinecke, <br /> <br />Goodrich Moved, Kustermann Seconded, that the minutes of the meeting <br />of May 7, 1962, be approved, Roll Call, Ayes (5) = Nays (0), <br /> <br />MINUTES <br /> <br />Reinecke Moved, Flanagan Seconded, that the minutes of the special <br />meeting of April 25>> 1962, be approved, Roll Call, Ayes (5) = <br />Nays (0)0 <br /> <br />Flanagan Moved, Reinecke Seconded, that the alternate proposal on <br />the Berntson Rezoning, revised May 2, 1962, be sent to the Planning <br />Commission for study of the overall pattern as well as the traffic <br />problem in the area, particularly relating to the ingress and egress <br />on Lydia Avenue, Roll Callv Ayes (5) = Nays (0)0 <br /> <br />BERNTSON REZONING <br /> <br />F lanagan ~Ioved, Goodrich Seconded, that the pub lie hearing on the <br />Berntson Rezoning be continued until June II, 19620 Roll Call, <br />Ayes (5) = Nays (0)0 <br /> <br />-'qor McGee made the following proclamation regarding "Highway <br />..eek", May 20 to 26>> 19620 <br /> <br />PROCLAMATION <br />HIGHWAY WEEK <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The construction and maintenance of our Villageis <br />streets is of greatest concern and importance to every citizen, <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREASll the untiring efforts of our Village's engineer <br />and street department personnel too often go unnoticed by the <br />people who are benefited by their work, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, President John Fo Kennedy and Governor Elmer Lo <br />Andersen, have proclaimed the week of May 20 to 26, 1962>> as <br />"Highway Week" <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFOREll I, Richard McGee, Mayor of Roseville do urge <br />all citizens to direct special attention to the many accomplishments <br />by these municipal employees, often under severe and trying conditions, <br />I also urge every citizen to view and study the work of these men, and <br />thereby gain a better appreciation of their contributions to the pro= <br />gress and prosperity of our communityo <br />
