<br />o 4 ~ <br /> <br />The Hayor stated that further clarification on the financing should <br />be made to the extent that the VillageVs share of the cost of this <br />project, approximately $8,600,OOll would be borne from Hinnesota <br />State Aid or gas tax monies anJ~ therefore~ would not represent any <br />increase in property taxes because of this improvement 0 <br /> <br />The Mayor at this point called upon any interested property owners, <br /> <br />Those appearing in favor of the improvement were: <br /> <br />Mr. Douglas Reese, Rose Building Corporation = stated he was in favor <br />of the improvement. <br /> <br />~Ir 0 Robert Crabb" the Dayton Company = stated his fum was in favor of the <br />improvement but wished to call the attention of the Council the problems <br />which would occur during the widening process on County Road Bo He <br />strongly recommended that the Council consider opening of a new roadway <br />to the north, commonly known as Commerce Street" to facilitate movement <br />of traffic during the construction on County Road B 0 <br /> <br />Clarence lIart = liar Mar Centerl) stated the Center favored the widening <br />of this section of County Road B~ but wishedl) as ~~o Crabb had stated, <br />to bring to the Councilvs attention the necessity for temporary road- <br />way relocations during the widening of County Road B to allow business <br />~o continue as usual in the commercial establishments, <br /> <br />Sheldon Rubenstein = Roseville Autowashl) stated that he was in favor <br />of the improvement 0 <br /> <br />Those asking questions: <br /> <br />Hro Kapitan asked whether or not the residents between Pascal Avenue <br />and Hamline Avenue would have to pay for curb and gutteI'o <br /> <br />The Mayor indicated that there would be no assessments between <br />Hamline Avenue and Pascal Avenue, <br /> <br />Those appearing in opposition to the improvement: None <br /> <br />The Mayor closed the public hearingo <br /> <br />Goodrich Moved" Kustermann Seconded>> that Resolution Noo <br />authorizing the widening of County Road B between Pascal <br />and Snelling Avenue as a public improvement be adopted, <br />Call, Ayes (5) ~ Nays (0)0 <br /> <br />723 <br />Avenue <br />Roll <br /> <br />Schrenker Moved, Goodrich Seconded, that the variance requested <br />by Har rlar, InCa for setback deviations from the Village code on <br />the southwest corner of County Road B and Pascal Avenue be denied, <br />Roll Call, Ayes (5) = Nays (0). <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NOo <br />723 <br />WIDENING COUNTY <br />ROAD B <br /> <br />BAR MAR <br />VARIANCE <br />
