<br />-2- <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Since the Ideals of America, which were born in the <br />uast, and through the rule by law, insure the orderly procedures <br />f justice in the competing ideologies of the present, and will <br />hold in balance the pledge of liberty and freedoms for the future; <br />therefore, be it <br /> <br />RESOLVED, In association with the Directorate of the Star Spangled <br />Banner Flag House Association and the National Flag Week Committee, <br />that June 10 thru 16 be declared National Flag Week, and that this <br />period be commemorative of the Congressional Resolution of June 14, <br />1777, which adopted the design of the First Flag of the United <br />States of America. <br /> <br />Be it so resolved. <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />Proclamation <br /> <br />WHEREAS, our village area was once known as Rosetown and is <br />currently known far and wide as Roseville, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, many fine and beautiful roses are currently grown in <br />our community, thereby enhancing its beauty, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, we wish to encourage the growing of roses in Roseville to <br />~ncrease its beauty and lend greater significance to its name, <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, we, the Village Council of Roseville, do hereby <br />proclaim the month of June to be celebrated throughout Roseville <br />as Rose ~1onth. <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />Kustermann Moved, Schrenker Seconded, that the Village Attorney <br />be authorized to appeal to the District Court the Commissioners' <br />awards on the following park sites: 3A & B, 36A-IB & 2B, 36A-2C <br />and 28A. Roll Call, Ayes (4) - Nays (0). <br /> <br />PARK SITES <br /> <br />Curley ~1oved, Kustermann Seconded, that the request of Huber Sign <br />Company for a dumping license at the southwest corner of County <br />Road B and Dale Street be approved.
