<br />WHEREAS, such a reorganization will free up existing staff <br /> <br />to devote more time to transportation policy, housing, <br /> <br />rehabilitation, <br /> <br />comprehensive plan revision, and a more <br /> <br />aggressive economic development effort; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the current consultant, John Shardlow, supports the <br /> <br />reorganization as well as the Planning Commission. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved that the city Council of <br /> <br />Roseville authorizes the hiring of a full-time, in house planner, <br /> <br />and the related clerical assistance to facilitate the first phase <br /> <br />community Development Department's reorganization. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resultion was duly <br />seconded by Member Cushman, and upon a vote being taken thereon, <br />the following voted in favor thereof: Maschka, Cushman, Thomas, <br />and Rog, and the following voted against the same: None. <br /> <br />WHEREUPON, said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br /> <br />State of Minnesota) <br />) <br />County of Ramsey ) <br /> <br />I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified City Manager of the <br />city of Roseville, County of Ramsey, State of Minnesota, do hereby <br />certify that I have carefully compared the attached and foregoing <br />extract of minutes of a regular meeting of said City Council held <br />on the 27th day of August, 1990, with the original thereof on file <br />,in my office. <br /> <br />W~TNESS MY HAND officially as such Manager this 30th day of <br />August, 1990. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />SEAL <br />
